Semaglutide and Tirzepatide make you feel full faster, reduce food cravings, and improve insulin sensitivity. They also slow how quickly food moves through your system, which makes you feel less hungry.

GLP-1 medications are stimulant-free, and non-habit-forming. The side effects of this class of medications are mainly gastrointestinal, with most individuals reporting symptoms such as queasiness or nausea. A very small percentage of users report experiencing vomiting, diarrhea, or constipation. These side effects generally improve as the body adjusts to the medication. Depending on the prescription and dispensing pharmacy, some compounded formulations may include B vitamins or glycine to support nutritional needs and overall treatment tolerability. Formulations and individual responses may vary.
Your prescription shipping frequency depends on your billing period and your prescribed dosage. Some patients receive shipments monthly, while others receive shipments every 90 days (quarterly). Your membership covers the cost of your prescription, supplies, and priority shipping.
MaxLife is a telehealth platform, not a drug manufacturer or compounding pharmacy. When medication is prescribed, it is prepared and dispensed by a licensed partner pharmacy authorized to serve the patient’s state including Dirx Pharmacy, Southend Pharmacy, Hallendale Pharmacy, Red Rock Pharmacy, Advanced Pharmacy, Perfect Rx Pharmacy, Health Wealth Pharmacy, Quaker Community Pharmacy, VLS Pharmacy, and NewLife Rx Pharmacy. The dispensing pharmacy may vary based on location, prescription and availability.
Your prescribed GLP-1 medication, or any other weight loss medication, will be sent to an associate compounding pharmacy licensed in your state. On average, the pharmacy takes 2-3 business days to process the order and ship when the medication is in stock. The medicine and needles are shipped in an insulated container with ice and can be kept in the box for up to 72 hours.
We understand that every patient’s needs are different. If you feel a higher dose may be necessary, our team will coordinate a call with one of our licensed providers to review your request. If a higher dose is medically appropriate and approved by your provider, your prescription and membership will be adjusted accordingly.
No. MaxLife programs do not require a long-term contract. We offer different billing periods, and you may cancel anytime by submitting a cancellation notice at least 30 days before your next billing period begins. Please note that medication costs are not refundable.
Results vary by treatment and individual. In the STEP 1 trial, adults receiving FDA-approved Wegovy® (semaglutide 2.4 mg) lost an average of approximately 15% of their body weight over 68 weeks. In SURMOUNT-3, participants who completed a 12-week intensive lifestyle program followed by 72 weeks of FDA-approved Zepbound® (tirzepatide) treatment achieved approximately 24% total average weight loss from study entry. These results reflect specific FDA-approved products and study conditions and have not been established for compounded Semaglutide or Tirzepatide. Individual results may vary.
Both are GLP-1 medications for weight loss. Semaglutide acts on one receptor (GLP-1), while Tirzepatide acts on two (GLP-1 and GIP) and has shown a higher average weight loss in studies. The right option depends on your provider's assessment.
Treatment length is personalized. Some people move to a lower maintenance dose long-term. Weight regain is possible after stopping, so your provider helps you plan a sustainable approach.
